Two Old Fantasyland Icons

Two images from large format glass slides taken about early 1956. First up is the Casey Junior Railroad gliding over a bridge with just bare landscaping. The action of this shot is nice and interesting due to no Storybook Land.

Next up is the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship of course. I love the family in the right and the lady sunning herself in her skirt in the lower left. The benches remind me of ones seen at zoos and parks, but not quite in these colors.

These are both nice; I've always wondered why, at a certain point, some folks still had their slides put in heavy, fragile glass mounts when they didn't have to.
